I'm still too pissed at the show to go into much detail so instead I'll say that learning about some behind the scenes decisions and rules for shows explains alot about how quickly the show's quality started fluctuation after the first two seasons and then took such a crater in quality in the end.
Though I have to admit I'm still in a wierd place when it comes to the Executive producers and Dreamworks.
the interviews show the EP's are responsible for a large portion of what went wrong but it is looking more and more like executives at Dreamworks decided to bury the show. So little promotion for Season 8 and sticking it on the day Into the spiderverse got a full release and one week before the followup to the much better recieved Trollhunters.
Also I really want to write spite fic where Shiro's personality changes are blamed on him still having haggar's conditioning in his head just limited to his subconcious and his marriage to Rando was simply because Rando reminded him of Adam and the programming sees Shiro having stayed with Adam and not gone to space as letting Haggar win.
