I wasn't sure I was going to like this because while I normally love storylines involving time travel, alternate universe dopplegangers and other stuff I have no enjoyed the whole past X-men brought into the future to continue pushing the Wolverine is right Scott is irrideemable message that Marvel has been pushing lately.

That said I absolutely loved this issue I have no problem with young Scott not liking his future self since let's face it the Scott from this period of his life hasn't been shaped by the events that made his future self so hard. Plus seeing a version of Scott running around being a space pirate with Corsair has been something I have wanted to see ever since we saw Starjammer Scott in the Mutant X Universe.

And can I just say that I love the explanation Corsair gives for a sword as part of a space pirate's arsenal.

I hope this title has a long run until the inevitible retcon mess since while Marvel may let two versions of characters run around for a while sooner or later one will have to be sacrificed and I sadly think it will be this one.
