Why are there so many freaking semi plot relevant back ground characters who have no freaking name unless you dive into closed captions or other sources and even then some of them don’t have a name.
I mean I know it is just another example of the show’s flawed writing but it still bugs me.

Tell me about it this rant was inspired by bitterness and frustration at trying to find the name of Matt's girlfriend. I finally did only to learn it was N-7 and still have no clue if it was said in an episode or somewhere else.

I think a lot of us are going to be bitter for a long while. The only good thing is that trainwreck though it is there is plenty of fic fodder there though frankly some fans of some pairings even ones I like are pissing me off with how they are responding in fic. (I will always prefer sheith but its firmly in the stucky catagory now in that there are way to many assholes who are only in for it one way and when canon didn't deliver they become mean spirited jack asses)
