Confession about the Dragon prince...

obsidianwolfI have a confession about The Dragon Prince and that is I find the show incredibly generic. Now nothing wrong with generic it is definitely high quality generic and better than a lot of other more innovative shows but at the end of the day it is generic fantasy with a lot of the same character ticks as Avatar the last air bender.
Which is why I am having such a problem with the fan base they keep hyping the show up to unreasonable levels. I mean there is no reason generic can't be brilliant and The Dragon prince definitely has those moments but there also some incredible predictability that again isn't a bad thing but with the fandom constantly hyping it and treating it better than similar shows it really turns me off.
I mean as to the show itself I hope it has a long full run but I just wish it had a different fandom as it were.
