You know I'm not one to get too bent out of shape by the Bury your gays trope. I mean it irritates me but I am far more annoyed by the politics that make it so likely that queer characters get killed off or get written out some other way. I mean when all your queer characters are back ground and side characters it is kind of inevitable.
However, the one thing that never fails to piss me off is how every single fucking time rather I think Bury your gays applies or not every writer/show runner/whatever trots out the same tired ass old excuse of they were aware of that trope and how folks might see it but it was the best choice for the story.
I am sick to fucking death of being told that it was the best choice for the story because it rarely fucking is. It is a fucking joke of an excuse just own your decisions people.
