So yet another interview...

And this time LM and JDS flat out say that all the shitty stuff was their idea including matching Shiro up with a random person he never talked to.

And yet still folks are coming up with conspiracy theories to blame anyone but them.

I mean they never deserved the shit Anti's threw at them but they were not good writers or show runners and most of VLD's flaws can be laid at their feet because the show's quality kept going down hill as other better writers and producers left.

I mean dreamworks is hardly blameless but the EP's have claimed most of the shitty ideas and the stuff that got cut would have been just as shitty or even worse.

It is time to let go of the idea of them being great talented masters who were screwed over by Dreamworks.

Nope they were decent directors who made shitty show runners with lousy ideas and if there is another Voltron product it stands a better chance of actually being good if they are kept far far away from it.

I'm sorry but I'm so annoyed at the ep's of VLD Right now that I absolutely cackled when I saw that the audience score for season 8 has dropped again.

It is at a freaking 6% now I know rotten tomatoes is meaningless but seeing how reviled that season is feels me with a bit of petty glee.

It is especially telling that unlike Season 7 that had a massive pro LM & JDS fanbase push to raise the score (outright telling folks to score it 5 stars to cancel out the negatives) no one has shown up to push for raising Season 8's score instead the fans in denial that Season 8 is the season the EP's wanted to make are convinced there's some better pure version of the show out there.

Confession about the Dragon prince...

I have a confession about The Dragon Prince and that is I find the show incredibly generic. Now nothing wrong with generic it is definitely high quality generic and better than a lot of other more innovative shows but at the end of the day it is generic fantasy with a lot of the same character ticks as Avatar the last air bender.

Which is why I am having such a problem with the fan base they keep hyping the show up to unreasonable levels. I mean there is no reason generic can't be brilliant and The Dragon prince definitely has those moments but there also some incredible predictability that again isn't a bad thing but with the fandom constantly hyping it and treating it better than similar shows it really turns me off.

I mean as to the show itself I hope it has a long full run but I just wish it had a different fandom as it were.
